Stacy Howell is a wildlife and landscape photographer. As a child, Stacy's family spent ample time outdoors, exploring the desert southwest and the greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. These excursions left an indelible mark, fostering a deep admiration for red rocks, glistening aspen leaves, snow-covered landscapes, and all things untamed. Stacy embodies a nature enthusiast, a staunch conservationist, and an ardent animal lover. Her affinity for photography sprouted from her profound affection for the natural world. From her initial Polaroid instant camera to her current Canon DSLR, every click serves as a valuable learning experience for Stacy. Sometimes she captures precisely the image she envisions, while other instances yield unexpected results. At times, her sheer enthusiasm overwhelms her, causing her to momentarily lose composure and focus. However, Stacy embraces these moments, recognizing that the occasional missed shot is a small price to pay for the unbridled excitement she feels in the presence of wildlife. She has come to understand that patience, persistence, and occasional strokes of extraordinary luck can unveil truly magnificent sights. Through her photography, Stacy aspires to forge connections for viewers—whether it be with a place they have personally visited or one they have only dreamt of—serving as a gentle reminder of the awe-inspiring creatures we coexist with on this planet.
