Born in Modesto, California and raised in Long Beach, California, Ryan’s focus in college was studying business. Ryan took a few college art courses but is mostly self-taught. He finds pleasure by studying the work of artists he enjoys and creates his own work from inspiration. Ryan believes that, “Art is human creativity. It is meant to inspire and evoke emotion, just like music.” He finds his inspiration through everyday life and sees each moment as an opportunity for creating new art. Ryan enjoys working with a variety of mediums, but he prefers to work with oils and charcoal. In Ryan’s free time, he enjoys drawing, painting, hiking, and playing piano.
